Microsoft interviews Dave Coates, Director of QZ Creative IT, about his involvement in Software Development Communities

Dave Coates from QZ Creative IT, took a break from running the Community Lounge at Tech-Ed Africa, the biggest software developer's conference in Africa, for an interview by Rauri Plint from Microsoft.

Microsoft Tech-Ed is the biggest technical conference in Africa. This year it was hosted by the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban, Kwazulu-Natal.

Dave Coates from QZ Creative IT, is the leader of the Port Elizabeth.NET software developer community. This year he organized and managed the Community Lounge at Tech-Ed, where delegates could meet and network with other community leaders from around the country. The Community Lounge was also the central meeting point where MVP's and speakers could network with delegates, and offered a good platform for discussions about presentation material. During the conference the TechTalk Online held interviews with various MVP's, speakers and also our very own Dave Coates.
